The Department of Radiodiagnosis, MGMMC Indore, was established in 1974 under the leadership of Dr. M.S. Dwivedi and Dr. O.P. Tiwari, following the bifurcation of Department of Radiology into Department of Radiodiagnosis and Department of Radiotherapy. The Department now offers 17 MD seats, making it a leading centre for postgraduate training. Equipped with advanced facilities including a 128-slice dual energy CT scanner, digital mammography, ultrasound machines with colour Doppler, and both digital and conventional radiography and fluoroscopic procedures, it provides comprehensive diagnostic services. The department also ensures 24x7 emergency Ultrasound and X-ray services. Future plans include establishing dedicated divisions for Fetal Medicine and Interventional Radiology, along with fellowship programs in subspecialities. Under the able guidance of the current Head of Department, Dr. Alka Agrawal, the department continues to advance in education, research, and patient care.

Facilities:
RADIOGRAPHIC EVALUATION :-
1. All Type of X-rays (musculoskeletal, chest , abdomen, skull, PNS and spine).
2. Special investigation like IVP,MCU,RGU, Fistulogram, HSG, Sinogram, barium meal, Barium follow through and Barium enema etc.

ULTRASOUND EXAMINATION :-
1. All routine USG (abdomen, chest, MSK, neck, pelvis and breast)
2. All obstetric scan (Fetal biometry, NT scan, Anomaly scan, Fetal Doppler)
3. Colour doppler studies of various body parts.
4. Special Ultrasound like Elastography, Follicular study
5. USG Interventions both diagnostic and therapeutic.

CT SCAN :-
1. All type of body scan from head to toe.
2. CT angiography of whole body including Cardiac imaging
3. Special investigations like CT perfusion, Virtual bronchoscopy.
4. CT guided Interventions both diagnostic and therapeutic.
